چکیده
Abstract Based on the thermo-electro-elastic coupling theory, mathematical model for a surface heated piezoelectric semiconductor (PS) plate is developed in time domain. Applying direct and inverse Laplace transformations to established model, mechanical electrical responses are investigated. The comparison between analytical solution finite element method (FEM) conducted, which illustrates validity of derivation. calculated results show that maximum values fields appear at heating surface. Importantly, perturbation carriers tend concentrate zone near under given boundary conditions. It can also be observed induced elastic wave leads jumps electric potential carrier density wavefront. When thermal relaxation introduced, all field quantities become smaller because lagging effect. Meanwhile, it found describe smooth variation jump position. Besides, with P-N junction, effect interface position response studied. effects initial properties discussed detail. conclusions this article guidance design PS devices serving environment.

متن کاملTransient Temperature During the Vaporization of Liquid on a Pulsed Laser-Heated Solid Surface
The thermodynamics of the rapid vaporization of a liquid on a solid surface heated by an excimer laser pulse is studied experimentally. The transient temperature field is measured by monitoring the photothermal reflectance of an embedded thin film in nanosecond time resolution. The transient reflectivity is calibrated by considering a temperature gradient across the sample based on the static m...
متن کاملNon-rigid Surface Registration Using Spherical Thin-Plate Splines
Accurate registration of cortical structures plays a fundamental role in statistical analysis of brain images across population. This paper presents a novel framework for the non-rigid intersubject brain surface registration, using conformal structure and spherical thin-plate splines. By resorting to the conformal structure, complete characteristics regarding the intrinsic cortical geometry can...
متن کاملAcoustic Scattering by an Inhomogeneous Layer on a Rigid Plate
The problem of scattering of time-harmonic acoustic waves by an inhomogeneous fluid layer on a rigid plate in R is considered. The density is assumed to be unity in the media: within the layer the sound speed is assumed to be an arbitrary bounded measurable function. The problem is modelled by the reduced wave equation with variable wavenumber in the layer and a Neumann condition on the plate. ...
